Carol singing is one of the oldest and warmest Ukrainian traditions.
From our grandfathers and great-grandfathers to this day, it unites families and neighbors, when on holidays groups of carol singers go from house to house, sing carols and wish the owners health, prosperity and peace. And although this tradition may look different in different parts of Ukraine, its essence remains the same: it keeps us together.
Both children and adults have always participated in carol singing. This is how our ancestors not only congratulated each other on the holiday, but also passed down customs from generation to generation. That is why carols are not just songs. They are the living memory of our people.
